First would be the full service Spa in the Borgata Lodge, Beyond Wrapture is Kelowna's finest spa with a great reputation. Its all 1 min from your door.

Wine Tasting is available quite close to us. 2 of the Okanagan Wine Country's best wineries are 15-20 minutes drive. Enjoy the beautiful drive through orchards & rolling hills, then visit both Gray Monk Winery & Arrow Leaf Cellars.

Both offer wine tasting of their award winning wines. Both have stunning views from the decks overlooking Lake Okanagan. Gray Monk has a full restaurant. Enjoy the view while you dine and enjoy world class wines.

Wine tours available just give us a ring and we can put you in touch with the tour guides or organize it to your custom liking. 3 tours options for a half day, they pick you up right at the lodge and go to 3 or 4 wineries. 10 wineries to pick from including Kelowna's famous Mission Hill, Quails Gate & Summer Hill pyramid. Full Clubhouse facilities in golf season 3 min walk from your door, restaurant, lounge and outdoor deck service awaiting your comfort and enjoyment.

There is a practice putting green right next to the lodge as well as a grass tee driving range 3 min walk from your door. Of course you cant miss the 2 - 18 hole championship golf courses which you enjoy the view from your suite. Full services pro shop in the clubhouse.

Garrard's Gallery is a must visit collectors / gift shop in our lodge with unique one of a kind items, it can be accessed right from the front desk.

4 lakes within 20 minutes drive

15 min to Woods Lake, 15 min to Lake Okanagan, 8 min to Duck Lake. Lake Okanagan is the biggest lake in the entire valley and offers all water sports, its big enough to go sailing. It can take an entire day to go from one end to the other via boat depending on the size of the boat.

Woods Lake is a gem and offers a cozy marina with a world class wakeboard and water ski school with boat rentals and a nice pub/ restaurant ( Turtle Bay Marine Pub ) right at the marina. Woods lake is the Okanagan Valleys warmest and quietest lake.

Just around the corner on Woods lake is a very large park that is not well known and has its own private beach with large picnic tables, bbq & wide expanse of grass for games. Its a great place for a family to go for a day. It offers shade under large trees & has public washrooms. Many of our guests have taken the family there and arrived back at the lodge with compliments on how enjoyable the beach and park was, also they felt safe with their children playing in the park.

Woods Lake is the best lake in the Okanagan Valley for water skiing as its somewhat protected from the winds that often make Lake Okanagan not suitable for water sports.

Woods lake also connects to Kalamalka lake via a small channel so if your going boating you can access Kalamalka from Woods lake and explore for an entire day!

Fishing is also a popular sport on Woods lake as it is stocked with trout, go through the pass way to Kalamalka and try your luck there as well.

Family Variety Entertainment Area

Just south of the Borgata Lodge is Scandia Family Golf & Games Park, this is a free entry park with tons of things to do for the kids and family. Mini Golf, Jungle Golf, Bumper cars, Batting Cages & an Arcade.

Across from Scandia is Malibu Grand Prix, this is a very cool place for family fun as it has miniature Indy race cars with quite powerful engines. Suitable for all ages. It has a huge arcade inside as well as food service. Don't be surprised if Dad and Mom get addicted to this and the family has a competition.

Next to that is McCurdy Bowling Center which has alot to offer if your into bowling as it has special effects, table side food and beverage service. For adults there is a brew pub / restaurant ( Mill Creek Brewery) attached to the bowling center with tours and beer tasting available.

Next to all of that is a 10 cinema theatre complex hosting the latest feature movies.

This area is Kelowna's Family fun area and enjoyed by both tourists and locals. Great its all in one place.

The Jammery

The Jammery is just 5 minutes drive from our lodge. It features locally made products right from the orchards on site. They serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea every day. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio in the evenings with Salmon, Steaks, Chicken or Ribs. Take a tour and learn how the process works.

40 min drive to Beaver Lake where your in the middle of somewhat untouched mother nature. You can rent small boats and tour the lake. A great place to go on overly hot days as its about 12 degrees cooler than the Okanagan Valley. They have a small rustic restaurant where you can get a beer and enjoy the view of the lake while hearing stories of the fishing & boating adventures. German food is a specialty.

Hiking is very popular with many options and choices of places to go.

Horse rentals are available nearby.

For shopping, well the sky is the limit with our Main mall called Orchard Park and then of course the many and huge variety of stores in both downtown and many close to the north end of Kelowna.

Costco & Walmart are about 10 minutes drive.

Kelowna City Park is a great place to visit during summer, if you want the busy beach scene this is the place to go. Jet ski rentals are nearby & often there are vendors set up with local crafts.

The John Jacobs Golf School is held at the Okanagan Golf Club next door to us. Please give us a call if your interested in enrolling in this world class golf school. They have 2 and 4 day schools that run through the late spring till fall. Golf student clients who have stayed with us in the past rave about the improvement in their games.

Mini Golf on grass greens is available at Kelowna Springs Golf Course. Its even lit up at night. Enjoy mini golf on real greens and only 10 minutes from the Borgata. Very reasonably priced.
